Honey, I'm Home

I know someone who lived on the ice one winter behind the Memorial Union in the '80s. This isn't him.

It could be a food truck, mmm, Umami Buns.

    1. I bet it's a fishing shack, Mascha, but that would be an incredible idea.

  5. Hi Jade, do people actually choose to live on ice? Brrrrr, just thinking about it makes me shiver... I do hope it was a food truck as it looks a long way to the nearest food shop!

    1. Jade, that's a new one, I kind of like it. I knew someone, let's call him Francis, that did that one winter. He was already borderline homeless and thought it was a grand idea (makes sense if you knew him). I don't think it was a food shack, but I love the idea. There are some pretty nice fishing shacks out there, spacious and heated. They zip out there on an ATV and live the dream, haha.

    1. I think I'd write about Francis, the guy who spent the winter in a tent on the ice, DS.
