Dogs were walking, people were playing broomball, skaters were whisking around long ovals and my good lens went wonky. But this shot was enough to remind me of sunshine, crisp snow and red cheeks.
No, not those cheeks (but maybe).
Everybody needs a little sunshine, in your life
Sometime, to brighten up your day
Everybody needs a little sunshine, in your life
Hi Jeanna, I totally agree. A blue sky and sun can chase away the most miserable of feelings. If I were out walking in that snow I would have two sets of red cheeks for sure! I'm not sure how upright I would manage to stay.

Ha, if I'm falling I'm not getting up so I'm pretty careful where and how I walk. If you can manage that trail on a hearty snack you can walk on some snow and ice at Stricker's Pond, Debbie.
DeleteSo pretty with a blanket of snow!
ReplyDeleteIt was nice but that was last week and today there were flood advisories cuz all that snow is melting. We're getting slain tomorrow (snow, sleet, rain).
DeleteThose cheeks would be red if you fell over! Looks like a great mix of cold and sunshine ot me. #mysundayphoto
ReplyDeleteOh yeah they would, John. There were lots of sporty types out there so I was happy meandering about the shore camera in hand.
DeleteI love winters days as long as a blue sky is involved.
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up to #MySundayPhoto
And for me a nearby place to sit with heat and a snack.
DeleteSun is a wonderful thing when it has been hiding a while
ReplyDeleteIt was also 34˚ with very little wind so it seemed like a spa day.
DeleteLovely capture! Love blue skies :) #MySundayPhoto
ReplyDeleteToday didn't quite live up to last week, but I feel spring in these old bones, RP.
DeleteA sunshine day filled with snow is always beautiful in my book :) #MySundayPhoto
ReplyDeleteIf only I still had knees (;
DeleteLooks like a cold beautiful day!
ReplyDeleteIt was a toasty 34, Carol.
DeleteOh this is beautiful, sunshine definitely makes me feel better.
ReplyDeleteIt was really energizing everyone around us, HM. Unlike today when I don't know how people drove with their heads so far up their butts.
ReplyDeleteLovely words and photo. Sunshine perks me up, a lil could go a long way!

It does and funnily enough it is now dreary and raining. But good thing the smell of lovely comfort food perks me up too cuz the tuna casserole is just about done! (:
DeleteWe do! Winter can be fantastic with a little sunshine :)
ReplyDeleteSo "Vill" means "Wild" I ask being too lazy to look it up. I agree, Wild Rose, even if the old knees aren't what they used to be.
DeleteLove the sunshine. I think of the song "I'm walking on sunshine. . ." :-)
ReplyDeleteI LOVED that song we could use some today.
DeleteHope my comment gets through this 3rd time:) Yes, snow it is. When it's cold and snowy, it really helps that the sun is shining! Many thanks for showing your barbaric (haha) winter with All Seasons! Keep safe and warm!
ReplyDeleteThird times the charm, JSG. It can be brutal and at times barbaric but I think it's almost over since it looks and feels like March this week.
DeleteWe've got a lot of it (sunshine).... glad you got a taste! Our youngest son and DIL moved from the PNW to Colorado because they were chasing sun and they found it ... and she is like a different person --- some people really truly can't handle the gray rainy weather Seattle and Eugene get all winter. (They like the snow -- and the sun shines like 360 days a year where they live). I like sun AND warmth ... I'm just wimpy that way.
ReplyDeleteA taste is right, although yesterday was pretty nice too but now we're in the midst of rain and ice and the occasional flood and maybe more snow. Blech. Oh yeah, I remember getting sunshine and a dry heat when I visited Colorado. I don't mind rain, especially when I have so much I need to do inside, then I don't feel guilty.
