Big Rope Little Dog
It's been a tough week so I'll leave you with a few more phone pics. This rope smells like you and you belong to me therefore ...

I thought when Aaron Rodgers broke his collarbone in the first quarter of that Viking game in mid-October it was some kind of karmic paymen...

This is hard for me to write not only because I'm broken up about Dexter's owner taking him back soon, but because being a dog perso...
Dang, if we get that much snow everything is closed for at least a week!
ReplyDeleteHa, this is really nothing, Brian. It's just that it's been fairly nice all winter and then it got cold and snowed for ten days in a row in February. But compared to other snowfalls we wave a paw at this amount and say, "Pffftt." It's yet to convince me to wear my snow boots which sit there unused in the hallway.
DeleteI would have expected an igloo :)
ReplyDeleteHonestly I'm too lazy to walk all the way out there and my telephoto lens crapped out on me so I'll have to go back and have another look. But yeah, an igloo would be appropriate, depending on the day in this schizo weather we've had this winter.
ReplyDeleteThis is the Glllooobbbaall waarrrminngg??!! Brrr....
ReplyDeleteYou have to put on your snow boots to show us that this is not the case .... :)
If you knew how crazy the weather has been, Ella. They were just talking about 40˚ weather in the same breathe as an upcoming rainy ice deal then I'm sure it will all freeze over, dip into the teens then shoot up to 50 (10) the next day. No one knows what to expect or wear so I dress in layers and took the lining out of my coat. My cousin was sweating from wearing just a regular quilted jacket with a warm lining the other day. It's going to have to do a LOT better than this for me to put on boots. I'm turning into one of those old farts who talks about how much snow we used to have as a kid, lol.
DeleteGreat wintery shots, if we get that in the UK everything grinds to a halt LOL. Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jane, as the saying goes, "It doesn't matter what the weather is today because it will change tomorrow." Just about everybody knows someone with a snow plow and homeowners have snowblowers. That's one of the reasons I live in an apt., lol.
DeleteSo much cold and space!
ReplyDeleteYes, I wish I could have captured the energy of people walking dogs, playing on the ice and the broom ball players who had just finished their game. It was sunny and 34˚ and people were very happy and active. Darn lens got dust or something in it and stopped working, kind of tripped me up. Oh well, next time.
DeleteLooks so very cold and desolate
ReplyDeleteMollyx
It does, I blame it on the kit lens.
DeleteMarvellous compositions!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the winter, much like what we've got up here in Canada. :-)
