The Other Side of The Coin

Or is that corn, we didn't know. Hard to believe this photo was taken the same day a few miles away from the last post. I had to look for spots that weren't going through a meltdown, but what we noticed most were flags at half mast.
Lots of water everywhere here today, but nothing like one of my favorite little towns, Monticello, which flooded over.

We never really know what we're looking at, crop wise, but I find guessing "corn" usually works out

    1. Sure I did Tulip Girl. I'm looking not to slip into another car today since all those flooded areas froze over. I'm still thinking about the four oxen for a tulip bulb exchange, haha. When they dig up the thousands of tulips they plant around the square downtown there's a made dash for the bulbs, so I guess we have our own Tulipmania.

  3. We have a lot of those fields here. Lots of corn grown each summer.

I hate all that flooding. What a shame for those that are affected.

    Have a fabulous day. ♥

  4. Wow, it looks barren! It would be cool to see it in the peak of the harvest season and compare the two. Have a great week!

  5. looks like snow rather than water -- much better than the flooding in the town. That's when you think maybe houses should be built on stilts.

    1. We had to look some to find this kind of snow patch, but there was water everywhere, and flooding not too far south. Yes, we're lucky so far and I agree, stilts for all!
