Lots of water everywhere here today, but nothing like one of my favorite little towns, Monticello, which flooded over.
We never really know what we're looking at, crop wise, but I find guessing "corn" usually works out |

It's been a tough week so I'll leave you with a few more phone pics. This rope smells like you and you belong to me therefore ...
A lovely shot.
ReplyDeleteI think it's better in b&w, Fi.
DeleteA great photo, thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteThe other side of the spectrum.
DeleteDo you miss me?! LOL
ReplyDeleteI just know what you are looking for ... the snow! :)
Nice photo, thanks for sharing!
Sure I did Tulip Girl. I'm looking not to slip into another car today since all those flooded areas froze over. I'm still thinking about the four oxen for a tulip bulb exchange, haha. When they dig up the thousands of tulips they plant around the square downtown there's a made dash for the bulbs, so I guess we have our own Tulipmania.
DeleteWe have a lot of those fields here. Lots of corn grown each summer.
ReplyDeleteI hate all that flooding. What a shame for those that are affected.
Have a fabulous day. ♥
It's crazy today, Sandee, all ice now, I can't wait to see what driving will be like.
DeleteWow, it looks barren! It would be cool to see it in the peak of the harvest season and compare the two. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteYes, that is a good idea, now I have to find the same spot, lol. Hope you get more glimmers of sunshine your way.
Deletelooks like snow rather than water -- much better than the flooding in the town. That's when you think maybe houses should be built on stilts.
ReplyDeleteWe had to look some to find this kind of snow patch, but there was water everywhere, and flooding not too far south. Yes, we're lucky so far and I agree, stilts for all!
DeleteLovely wintry shot! Crazy weather!
ReplyDeleteHappy Week to you,

A whole world away from today, Carol (:
