Quick Tip: It helps to clean off your car windows if you want to see. (Someone backed into my car in a parking lot as I was waiting for an elderly gentleman to back out in front of me. The guy's excuse, "I didn't think to look.")
Shortly after that I almost ran into a speeding ATV which was racing down a county park driveway onto the ice. I won't even talk about breakfast at the ice cream shop.
So tonight we're content to look out the window and listen to one of our favorite radio shows.
I have no desire to go out there |
Beautiful cat! I love the snow picture. Stay safe with the idiot drivers out there.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't even moving and giving an old guy a wide berth, jeesh. It's a healthy blanket of snow today, but just as pretty from the inside looking out.
DeleteI love the lighting on the first photo
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up
That's funny, Darren, I'd just discovered I left my flash in the car in the garage down two flights of stairs so that's the pop-up on the new Canon.
DeleteBeautiful pictures. Sounds like the drivers weren't prepared for the snow!
ReplyDeleteThere wasn't much of it but this kid didn't clean off his window or bother looking to see who was behind him. No excuse given the amount of snow we usually have, I mean you can't live here and drive without knowing how to drive in snow.
DeleteI hate going out in the snow, I'm rather like your cat, it looks okay through the window.

He sure does like looking at it though, first thing he did this morning was perch on the back of the couch to survey the fresh snow.
DeleteHi Jeanna, it sounds like you are much better off and safer being indoors tonight. Dexter is one sensible cat!

He knows what he likes and likes what he knows. He won't put a paw out on the patio let alone when it's covered in snow, Debbie.
DeleteSo pretty! We haven't had too much snow yet...well we've had but in manageable bursts!
ReplyDeleteWe haven't had much either and I think that's why people were so elated and not paying attention. Manageable bursts is an excellent way to put it, Tamar.
DeleteLovely captures!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Eye.
DeleteI love both shots - the cat reminds me of a cat I had decades ago and the capture of a snowy night is wonderful
ReplyDeleteThank you, I never dreamed I'd have a cat but he sure offers a lot of photo ops as well as being a fun roommate.
DeleteIt is so cold, that snow fall does look pretty and I don't blame your cat happy to watch from inside.
ReplyDeleteI can't even tell you from day to day if it's crazy cold or just plain crazy Yesterday hit 30˚, a little over a week ago it was 50 and when I went out on Friday I thought I'd freeze solid after a few feet.
Delete"I didn't think to look"?? ...that is no excuse, that's an admission of guilt. Yikes. Stay in. What is your favorite radio show?
ReplyDeleteHe was a sweet and exceptionally polite young man who kept asking if I wanted to exchange insurance info. I was able to rub off some of the black marks and hoped the scratches would all come off too so I literally said, "F*$k it" and let him go. The kid was such a contrast to the smug little tw*t I encountered at the ice cream shoppe I couldn't make a big deal of it.
DeleteYeah, that is no excuse and he wasn't trying to weasel out of anything.
I have two favorite shows, one on Wednesday mornings called "Back To The Country" and this one on Friday night is called, "I LIke It Like That" which features a lot of B side and album tracks from the 50s and 60s. Both of the DJs are bursting with knowledge.
Loving the snow picture, what a great capture.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sabina, it's really coming down now.
DeleteAbsolutely heavenly kitty photo! Awesome!
ReplyDeleteHappy Week to you,
A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
I think watching the snow fall is like watching TV for him.
