Floody Sunday

It's been an interesting month for weather and I'm looking forward to a calmer week. I'm itching to take more photos with the about where I should be Canon 7D Mark II and has yet to impress me but let's give it a chance Lumix TS30K Tough camera.

Seeing how close I could get to the flooded Monticello taking Hwy 69. (Not very.) (Canon 7D M2)

Do you not have anything else to do? (Lumix)

Using the Lumix Tough camera at the park down the road

  1. It does look very cold there and the caption on the cat made me smile.

    1. I think Dexter is over all this photo taking. It's been melting and freezing and warm days ahead, Fiona.

  2. Hi Jeanna, love Dexters expression. I'll have to send him a photo of Ugg our no-longer-feral cat, that patrols the woodpiles and has stolen my heart. At least then you could tell him you have to take photos to send to Ugg (maybe we both have to get out more?). My favourite photo has to be the last, mean and moody and I'm sure there are Sasquach footprints bottom left.

    1. Ha, who knows what lurks at Governor Nelson State Park, Debbie, although I do ask from time to time. I think I was trying to tell them I heard a bobcat in my front yard on my last visit to the office.
I love Ugg's name, and congrats on the conversion. Dexter has lost stare downs with field sparrows so I'm not sure what he and Ugg have in common. I'm sure you get out more than me!
I'll have to look for Ugg now.

    1. I don't know Darren, I've become pretty frustrated taking photos this week and I'd wait for the upgrade which was supposed to be out in April, then they pushed it back. I bet we'll see it before the year's end and the price on this one will keep dropping steadily.

    1. I was pleased that the toy camera had a few good monochrome filters and yes, this little guy has many opinions about what goes on around him.

    1. I think they have receded a bit but I can't imagine, we are so lucky in the immediate area. I'm hoping to visit the Sugar River tomorrow and see what's what. I've heard some pretty sad tales from the affected areas.

    1. Ha, although that would be a good name for a cat his name is Dexter, my cousin named him and he seems to swing between scraggly and adorable but he can be a handsome boy from time to time.

    1. It got chilly enough to freeze but I was running around without a jacket or gloves or anything when I took these pics so things are looking up. Dexter is a funny little guy.

  15. Looks to me like your cat is saying, why do you go outside? it's wet. humans are crazy. it's warm and cozy in here. (very pretty cat, I used to have a an orange cat named Marmalade)

  16. You do understand him, CC, he is a total indoor house cat mama's boy baby. I LOVE the name Marmalade, especially for an orange kitty.
